Life line screenings, a fee based service supplied by Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, are available to the community. The screenings offer testing and assessments for the following conditions: stroke, carotid artery disease, abdominal aortic aneurysm, atrial fibrillation, peripheral arterial disease, heart disease risk, osteoporosis risk, elevated c-reactive protein, high cholesterol, Type 2 diabetes, and elevated liver enzymes. The cost for screening packages start at $60. They will be offered on Jan. 14, 9 a.m., at Sun Lakes Chapel Center, 9240 E. Sun Lakes Boulevard North in Chandler and Monday, Jan. 17, at 9 a.m., at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1035 E. Guadalupe Road, Tempe. Registration is required for this event.
