Want a way to enrich your life, meet new people and share in community education excellence? Volunteers are needed to join the Memory Training Speakers Bureau to engage in fun, interactive approaches to improve memory for seniors in good mental and physical health.

This opportunity is great for those 55 and up who enjoy presenting and are available for a one-day volunteer training session, set for 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, in the first floor education center at Banner Alzheimer's Institute, 901 E. Willetta St.

Speakers will facilitate two hours a week for the five-week training series based on research by Gary Small, MD, author of The Memory Bible. Various times and Valley locations are available to volunteer.

For more information or to reserve a spot, contact Vicki McAllister at (602) 889-6928 or e-mail Vicki.McAllister@bannerhealth.com.
