Hospice of the Valley has received a $100,000 grant from the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community to enhance end-of-life care and grief support services for children and families in Maricopa County.

About 100 children with life-threatening illnesses are served every day in their homes and at Ryan House in central Phoenix. Hospice of the Valley partners with Ryan House to provide respite care. In addition, Hospice of the Valley provides hospice care at Ryan House and grief support services to family members through New Song Center for Grieving Children.
