Neurosurgeons from Barrow Neurosurgical Associates (BNA), one of the world's leading neurosurgical practices, have been credentialed to treat patients at Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers, members of Catholic Healthcare West (CHW). They have joined the medical staff at both hospitals, serving as additional resources for their Joint Commission certified primary stroke centers as well as for the treatment of other neurosurgical and spinal diseases.

Neurosurgeons from BNA are recognized among the best in the world and base their practice at Barrow Neurological Institute (Barrow) at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. As a member of CHW, St. Joseph's is an internationally renowned medical center offering care through Barrow for patients throughout the world with diseases, disorders and injuries of the brain and spine. Barrow performs more neurosurgeries than any hospital in the world and, as part of St. Joseph's, is consistently voted by US. News &World Report as one of the top 10 best facilities in the nation for neurological and neurosurgical care.
