As part of National Stroke Awareness month in May, Banner Health wants to keep community members informed of the dangers of stroke. If you are age 50 or older, join them for a free screen. Reservations can be made by calling (602) 230-CARE (2273). Appointments are limited. Please register early.

The screening includes a written stroke risk assessment, blood pressure check, pulse check, cholesterol/glucose screening (four-hour fast recommended) and review of results by a physician or a nurse. Banner facilities may offer evaluation of neck arteries.
