Chandler Regional Medical Center, a member of Catholic Healthcare West (CHW), was awarded the "Exceeding Patient Expectations" award by Avatar International, an industry leader in health care quality improvement services.
The award was a result of a survey conducted in 2010 that gauged patient expectations about quality of care, reliability and customization before the visit.

I was recently discharged from Chandler Regional after a life threatening complication of a surgery. I was hospitalized for 17 days, 10 of them in the ICU and 7 in the recovery unit. I spent 4 days in a rotoprone bed while medically induced to a coma. My chances to survive was less than 10%.
I visited the ICU and the recovery unit to thank the 10 nurses who cared for me and three doctors. Unfortunally, I only saw the doctor of the iCU and two nurses. I cried like a child when I saw the nurse and the doctor. They saved my life and for that, I will be eternally grateful to God first and then the Hospital.
They provided me with excellent care.
Bert.
