AARP Arizona’s Community Educators Program offers free presentations on the inner workings of Medicare, Social Security and the Affordable Care Act to community centers and other groups across the state.
The presentations are designed to bring a greater understanding of these programs through the help of trained AARP volunteers.
“There are many older Arizonans who could benefit from a clear understanding of the workings of Medicare, especially since we are currently in open enrollment,” said Director David Parra. “Also our presentation on Social Security and the Affordable Care Act, which is the health care law, provides attendees with a greater understanding of what’s in these programs.”
