Chandler Regional Medical Center, a member of Catholic Healthcare West, celebrated the 10th anniversary of the hospital's cardiac catheterization laboratory (cath lab) on March 5. With a dedicated team of physician leaders and staff, Chandler Regional's cardiac cath lab has grown exponentially since its inception in 2001, from treating 147 patients in its first year to nearly 3,500 patients in 2010.

Earlier this year, Chandler Regional was also singled out by Health Grades, the nation's leading independent health care ratings organization, in its 2011 Hospital Quality in America report in the top three highest-performing Phoenix-area hospitals providing cardiac care. Chandler Regional was awarded the Cardiac Care Excellence Award 2011 and the Coronary Intervention Excellence Award 2011.
