Individuals, consumers and healthcare professionals looking for answers to complex questions about chronic illness and disabilities can engage with more than 80 exhibitors and participating organizations at the fifth annual Disability Empowerment Center (DEC) Health and Wellness Fair.

Presented by Bridgeway Health Solutions and hosted by Arizona Bridge to Independent Living (ABIL), the two-day fair will feature exhibitors and presenters with expertise in a range of specialties as well as:

• Health screenings for blood pressure, dental screenings and oral health, fall prevention and functional screenings for neurological injuries.

• Presentations about pain management, healthy cooking demonstrations, special needs planning, living with diabetes, holistic health and benefits of massage.

• Tours and activities in the Virginia G. Piper Sports & Fitness Center (SpoFit) including demonstrations, open swim, youth recreation activities, Rock Wall Climbing 101 and yoga.

• Lunch, refreshments, raffle prizes.

The fifth annual Disability Empowerment Center (DEC) Health and Wellness Fair will take place on Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3, at the Disability Empowerment Center, 5025 E. Washington St.
