Bosom Buddies of Arizona, a non-profit organization comprised of caring volunteers with personal experience dealing with the trauma and challenges of breast cancer, today announced plans to open a new chapter to service the north central area of Phoenix. Each month, Bosom Buddies and subject matter experts serving as guest speakers, will present on different topics related to breast cancer including nutrition, oncology, alternative therapies, exercise, plastic surgery, radiology, and more. The first meeting will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15 in the Cinema Room at Chris Ridge Village, 6250 N. 19th Avenue, north of Bethany Home Road.

Monthly meetings are held all over the Valley. All meetings are free of charge and open to anyone.

Bosom Buddies also operates a 24/7 hotline (602) 231-6648 that is answered by volunteers who are survivors of breast cancers. For more information, please visit www.bosombuddies-az.org.
