The Phoenix St. Jude Give Thanks Walk is one of 90 events taking place in communities across the country on Nov. 17 to help kids battling cancer and other deadly diseases.

The noncompetitive 5K is an annual fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital that serves as the official kick-off event for the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign.

The Phoenix walk promises to be better than ever with more than 40 vendors, including numerous craft vendors, face painting, Santa Claus, Home Depot kids’ crafts, a photobooth, and more.

Check in for the walk begins at 7:30 a.m. at the American Express Campus, 18850 N. 56th St. in Phoenix.

Registration is free. For more information, visit givethankswalk.org.
