The Central Arizona Chapter of the Colon Cancer Alliance received the prestigious Sapphire Award for Best 2011 Undy 5000 Management during a ceremony at the Colon Cancer Alliance’s National Conference on July 21 in Baltimore, Md.
The Central Arizona Chapter is currently planning the Fifth Annual Phoenix Undy 5000 event, which will take place on Saturday, Nov. 17 at the State Capitol District in Downtown Phoenix.
A portion of each race’s proceeds is left behind with a community-based organization to support local colon cancer screening and treatment programs.
