Chandler Regional Medical Center, a Dignity Health™ Member, was recognized as a 2012 Patient Safety Excellence Award™ Hospital Recipient by HealthGrades®, the nation’s leading provider of comprehensive information about physicians and hospitals.
To identify the best-performing hospitals in patient safety, which represent the top 5 percent of all U.S. hospitals, HeathGrades analyzed approximately 40 million Medicare hospitalizations between 2008 and 2010. The analysis was conducted using a method developed by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality to calculate event rates for 13 indicators of patient safety.
Chandler Regional was also recognized as a Patient Safety Excellence Award recipient in 2011.
