An Ahwatukee sports medicine clinic has recently joined the Dignity Health Medical Group — previously St. Joseph’s Medical Group.

Dignity Health’s University Sports and Family Medicine clinic is directed by Dr. Roger McCoy, who is also Arizona State University athletics’ head team physician. The clinic provides professional-grade care for those with sports-related injuries.

McCoy and Dr. Matthew Anastasi are team physicians for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Rattlers, ASU athletics and also treat patients at the Ahwatukee clinic — located at 15810 S. 45th St., Suite 101 — helping them return to performance quickly and safely.

In addition, both physicians and the physician assistants are affiliated with South Mountain Community College, Desert Vista High School and Mountain Pointe High School. The care team also includes an orthopedic surgeon.

Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the clinic’s physicians also provides general family medicine services for individuals 10 years old and up. For more information or to make an appointment, call (602) 406-1400.
