"Health for a Lifetime," a series of free workshops presented by the city of Phoenix Human Services Department and St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, offers health information for older adults and the community.
The next workshop, "Diabetes Prevention and Awareness," will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at South Mountain Community Center, 212 E. Alta Vista Road.
Dr. Emily Zaragoza-Leo, Department of Family Medicine at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, will discuss how to prevent and manage diabetes while maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
