The Cancer Center at Chandler Regional Medical Center, 475 S. Dobson Road, is handing out free “knitted knockers” for women who have had mastectomies and did not have reconstructive surgery afterward. They are hand-knitted and each come with a message of hope inside.

If you or someone you know would like to take advantage of these free “knitted knockers,” contact Jane Breitenfeld at (480) 728-3633 or e-mail Jane.Breitenfeld@chw.edu. For additional information, or to register for a cancer center class, call ResourceLink toll free at 1-877-728-5414 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
