Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert medical centers are getting ready to accept applications for their highly anticipated Volunteen program.

Since its inception in 2008, the program has been steadily growing where more than 500 teens have served more than 20,640 hours. Volunteens should be between the ages of 14 and 18 (before June 1) and have an interest in helping others, gaining work experience and making new friends at either medical centers.

A Parent Information Session will be hosted on Monday, Feb. 25 from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Campo Verde High School Auditorium, 3870 S. Quartz St., in Gilbert.

For more information, visit ChandlerRegional.org or MercyGilbert.org, and click “Volunteer Information” located on the left-hand navigation bar.

Volunteen applications will be available March 1-14.
