Registration is open for the 13th annual cardiac care conference, hosted by Banner Health and GateWay Community College, 108 N. 40 St. in Phoenix. The day long event will feature several healthcare experts from across the Valley covering a variety of topics related to cardiac patient care.
The conference is from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, at GateWay Community College, and via webcast for those wishing to participate online. The conference aims to enhance participants' knowledge of sleep disordered breathing and cardiac disease, Banner Research and Innovation, destination therapy and mechanical circulatory support, dabogatram vs. warfarin for atrial fibrillation, women an heart disease, and the current state of ablation practice.
The conference is open to healthcare professionals, students and the general public. The cost for Maricopa County residents is $75. An additional $12.50 fee is applied for out-of-county/state attendees.
