Gov. Jan Brewer announced staff changes among her education policy team.
Dale Frost, who currently serves as Brewer’s education policy advisor, has been promoted to director of the Governor’s Office of Education Innovation.
In this role, Frost will advance the governor’s efforts to implement the state’s education reform plan, working to ensure all Arizona students are prepared for success in college and careers upon graduation.
He also will work collaboratively with the Arizona Ready Education Council to improve K-12 and higher education statewide. Frost will also maintain his position as the governor’s education policy advisor.
Frost replaces departing Rebecca Gau, who has accepted a position with Stand for Children, an education advocacy organization whose mission is to ensure all children graduate high school with the preparedness and opportunity to receive a college education.
