Maricopa Co. treasurer announces property tax reminder

The Maricopa County Treasurer's Office, in conjunction with its Pay Your Taxes Online campaign, wanted to remind residents that the second half of tax was due Tuesday, March 1, and becomes delinquent after 5 p.m. May, 1. Making life a little easier for Maricopa county residents, the Treasurer's office is allowing citizens to pay online making it easy, secure, convenient and fast. For those who choose to pay their taxes online, please visit the website www.treasurer.maricopa.gov and follow the easy step-by-step instructions listed.

The property taxes collected by the Maricopa County Treasurer's office are deposited in each tax district's account in these approximate amounts; Maricopa County 14 percent, education 68 percent and 18 percent to cities, towns and special districts.
