For the first time in 11 weeks, the price of fuel in Arizona is making gains. Statewide, motorists are paying an average of $3.384 per gallon, an increase of nearly a penny from last week, yet 38 cents below the state's peak summer price of $3.764. Nationwide, motorists are filling up for $3.706, a 1.7 cent jump from last week.
This week, the price of crude oil fell to the mid $90 per barrel range in response to the Department of Energy's weekly report, which revealed increased crude and fuel supplies.
