The American Foundation for Cardiomyopathy (AmericanFFC) announces the launch of its 2011 used cell phone drive. In partnership with Phones4Charity, AmericanFFC is collecting and recycling used cell phones. Phones4Charity will give American Foundation for Cardiomyopathy a donation for each phone collected during the drive.

None of the phones end up in landfills as they either get recycled or reprogrammed for use by domestic abuse victims as 911 phones. This cell phone drive is a way to support American Foundation for Cardiomyopathy, and help save lives.

Cell phones can be dropped off at any of the following 12 local drop-off locations through May 31: Ahwatukee Foothills News, 10631 S. 51 St., Suite 1; Ahwatukee Country Club, 12432 S. 48th St.; Grace Inn, 10831 S. 51st St.; Belle Melange Salon, 4902 E. Warner Road, Suite 12; Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, 4929 E. Chandler Blvd.; Cups N' Crepes, 4232 E. Chandler Blvd., Suite 1; Dunkin Donuts, 4923 E. Chandler Blvd., Suite 302; Edward Jones, 4902 E.
