Local Sorority group Zeta Chi Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha is hosting a golf tournament fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 11. Proceeds will fund the group's philanthropic programs that include Loved Ones Lost, St. Jude's, Easter Seals and Camp Hope. Zeta Chi also hosts annual events such as Breakfast with Santa.
The event will run from 5 to 10 p.m. starting at the Ahwatukee Country Club (12432 S. 48th St.) with a raffle and dinner (served at 6 p.m.). At dusk (around 8 p.m.), twilight golf will begin at The Lakes at Ahwatukee Golf Course (13431 S. 44th St.). Twilight golf is a fun nine-hole game that can be played by anyone regardless of golf skill level. Participants will use neon glow-in-the-dark golf balls and wear glow-in-the-dark necklaces.
The cost is $55 per person for golf and dinner or $35 per person for dinner only. Festivities include prizes, games and raffles. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available, and raffle prizes are needed. Payments must be received no later than Sept. 1.
