The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce (GPCC) recently welcomed a new chair-elect and seven new members to its board of directors. Ed Munson of KPHO-TV will serve as the 2014-2015 board chair, succeeding Peter Hayes of Salt River Project, while Ken McMahon of CenturyLink has been named chair-elect.

The board focuses on critical issues for the GPCC membership and the Greater Phoenix community, including providing valuable resources for local businesses, strengthening the quality of life in the Valley and keeping members informed, connected and prosperous.

The seven new area executives who join the board for 2014-2015 are Jaime Casap, global education & assess evangelist, Google, Inc.; Angela Creedon, assistant vice president of public affairs, Arizona State University; Craig S. Desnoyer, partner, Ernst & Young; Shirley Gunther, vice president of external affairs, Dignity Health; Debbie Johnson, president & CEO, Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association; Thomas Katheder, VP & associate general counsel, PetSmart; Chip Scutari, co-owner, Scutari & Cieslak Public Relations.
