The Valley Interfaith Project (VIP) is sponsoring a candidates’ forum for Legislative Districts 18 and 26 on Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, 975 E. Warner Road in Tempe.

VIP is a non-partisan organization of 40-member congregations throughout Maricopa County. Leaders from VIP will share stories and concerns coming out of their congregations, on issues such as economic recovery, health care, education, and immigration. Candidates for House and Senate from both districts will have the opportunity to respond to the issues, and will be asked to commit to working with VIP to address those concerns.

For more information, contact Rev. Dr. Robin Hollis at robin.b.hollis@gmail.com, or Tim McManus at timothy.c.mcmanus@gmail.com or (617) 875-4454.
