Phoenix Children’s Hospital will hold the fourth annual Keep Our Planet Neat, Recycle Your Car Seat Demolition event on Friday, April 20 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Tempe Marketplace north parking lot, 2000 E. Rio Salado Parkway. Last year, more than 400 car seats were recycled.
Drop off your unwanted car seat and meet Miss Arizona 2012, Jennifer Sedler, as she will be signing autographs. Miss Arizona and other volunteers will be on hand to dismantle hundreds of car seats. All metal, plastic parts and material items will be recycled.
