Seminars provide tips for high school success

Ahwatukee Foothills resident Shauna Cahill, The Successful Tutor, will present the seminar "What It Takes to Succeed at High School: Organization and Study Skills" from noon to 2 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, and again on Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Grace Inn, 10831 S. 51st St.

The experienced tutor will show seventh- to 12th-grade students and their parents how to use school websites effectively, study efficiently with proven tools and techniques, improve time management skills, manage multiple classes and due dates, prepare for semester finals throughout the school year and compute quarterly and semester grades.

The $70 registration fee includes one parent and one student (additional family members are $25).
