Fastframe, the local custom picture framing store, is hosting its annual Art Contest for Kids. Tracy L. Morse, owner of Fastframe of Chandler, will be encouraging children in first through fifth grades to create a piece of art based on the theme: "My Favorite Fairy Tale."

The contest will be continuing until May 7, and Morse will be accepting artwork in to the store for the contest. A first place will be chosen from among the entries brought in, and it will be framed for free, courtesy of the owner and donated framing materials from Nielsen Bainbridge. The first place winning artwork will be sent off to the Fastframe corporate office in Newbury Park, CA to be judged in the national contest. The national winning artist will receive a $250 Disney gift card, with an additional $250 gift card going to his or her school for art supplies. In addition, the national winning piece will be displayed on the home page of the corporate website for the month of June 2011.
