The Ahwatukee Recreation Center will once again be sending care packages to U.S. servicemen and servicewomen serving our country overseas this holiday season. The goal is to send 100 care boxes to the troops in time to help them celebrate the holiday season.
Donations of snack items, hard candy, travel-size hygiene items, white and black socks, hand wipes, etc. are currently being accepted for the care boxes. Donations may be dropped off prior to Nov. 5 in the lobby of the Ahwatukee Recreation Center, 5001 E. Cheyenne Drive
