Cyclists, skateboarders, wheelchair users and stroller-riding tots get to call the roads of South Mountain Park their own one day each month when the Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department continues its popular Silent Sunday at South Mountain on the fourth Sunday monthly. Starting at 5 a.m. the park's roadways past the Central Avenue gate, 10919 S. Central Ave., will be reserved for non-motorized use.

Remaining Silent Sunday dates for 2010 are Aug. 22, Sept. 26, Oct. 24, Nov. 28 and Dec. 26.

For information, call (602) 495-5811.
