The Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture and Arizona Commission on the Arts will host a series of webinars about creating better cities and communities through public art. The series will be presented on Sept. 12 and 26, Oct. 10, Nov. 7 and 20, and Dec. 5, at the Pulliam Auditorium at Burton Barr Central Library, 1221 N. Central Ave. (times and topics vary).
An eighth webinar, on Oct. 24, will be presented at the PhoenixArt Museum’s Singer Hall, 1625 N. Central Ave.
The series will be free to the public, but attendees are encouraged to reserve seating by completing the online registration form at azarts.gov.
National public art expert Barbara Goldstein, author of “Public Art by the Book,” will lead the eight webinars.
