Jennifer Wright, Republican Phoenix mayoral candidate, has announced the endorsements of Sen. Steve Smith (R-District 23) and Rep. Terri Proud (R-District 26).

"It is my pleasure to support and endorse Jennifer Wright for mayor," Smith said. "I believe Phoenix and the state of Arizona would be a much better place under Jennifer's leadership."

Proud had this to say: "Jennifer's conservative values of less spending and less government are exactly what the city of Phoenix needs." Proud continued by saying, "I believe she is the right candidate for the job."

"I am honored to have the support of fellow conservative leaders," Wright said. "I am confident that with their support I will get the city of Phoenix back on the right track."
