SMCC to host Phoenix candidates for mayor

"South Mountain Counts: A Community Forum with the Phoenix Mayoral Candidates" has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.at the South Mountain Community College (SMCC) Performance Hall, 7050 S. 24th St. in Phoenix.

This moderated community conversation will provide an opportunity for citizens to discuss the issues of most concern to the South Mountain community with all official candidates for mayor of Phoenix.

Moderator for the event will be Win Holden, South Mountain Village resident and publisher of Arizona Highways. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions the night of the event.

Questions for the candidates may also be submitted in advance to smcc@smcmail.maricopa.edu.

The forum is presented by South Mountain Community College, in association with the South Mountain/Laveen Chamber of Commerce, the South Mountain Village Festivals Committee, and the SMCC President's Community Advisory Council. Admission is free.
