Severson Sisters Foundation, a newly formed organization, created Connections, a program for middle-school girls, ages 10-14.

The program uses creative outlets and imaginative activities as a tool for girls to increase their personal awareness and embrace their individuality, as well as enable them to interact positively with those around them.

Connections launches at the Halle Heart Children's Museum in Tempe in June, and will continue throughout the summer. Each week will focus on a different fundamental that will help uncover each girl's unique attributes.

The different creative themes for the summer program are: dance theatre, Zumba, collage-making, creative storytelling and cooking.  The camp will be at the Halle Heart Children's museum in Tempe and will run June 6 through August 5 with limited breaks. Enrollment space is limited.

To enroll in the summer program, go to www.seversonsisters.org.
