One-thousand Phoenix at-risk youth will enjoy watching the Ninth Annual Native American Basketball Invitational (NABI) July 5-9 at US Airways Center, thanks to a recent partnership established between the city of Phoenix Neighborhood Services Department (NSD) and NABI Foundation.

NABI and NSD plan to provide youth programming activities focused on neighborhood and community involvement.

This joint effort will enable NSD's Tomorrow's Involved Leaders Today (TILT) program to train at least 400 additional youth and expand services to younger youth ages of 8 to 14 years of age. Traditionally, TILT trains 25 youth per year, ages 15 to 18.

TILT is a program designed to help Phoenix youth develop skills in leadership and facilitation, networking and partnership building, and inspire volunteerism, community involvement and a sense of pride in their neighborhoods.

For more information on TILT, visit phoenix.gov/nsd. For more information on NABI, visit nabifoundation.org.
