The Ahwatukee Community Swim & Tennis Center will present the 3rd Annual Tukee Fest Rockin' in the Park event from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 24 and 25, at Ahwatukee Park, 4700 E. Warner Road.

Bring blankets and chairs so you can relax while listening to the sounds of A Boy Named Sioux and Cooper Point on Friday evening. Those bands will be joined by Mark Mulligan from South of the Border on Saturday, who will make you feel like you are sitting on the beach in Mexico.

Kids will be able to run through an obstacle course, test their skills on a rock wall and enjoy a variety of other slides and bounce houses.

This is a fun, affordable way for families and friends to spend time together. Admission is $5 for adults and free for kids. Proceeds will benefit various programs at the Ahwatukee Community Center, such as golf, swim and tennis camps during summer, spring and fall school breaks; materials for Child Enrichment classes (progressive learning for children two to five years old); CPR and Lifeguard training classes.

Individual tickets for rides and food may be purchased the day of the event; all-day ride wrist bands will also be available for purchase. The event will feature food from Macayo's, Nello's Pizza, Hawg n Dawg, cold beer and more.
