Maricopa County has decided to refashion its cyber-security website to help local citizens, employees and businesses protect themselves against the increasing volume and sophistication of electronic attacks.

With the designation of October as Cyber Security Awareness Month, the county launched an improved website, www.maricopa.gov/technology/security, aimed at increasing public awareness and resources to combat incidents, including hacking, scams, ransom attempts and other attacks.

The new website is an upgrade to the current county cyber-security website and part of NACo’s national initiative on cyber security.
