Talking Trash, a new program from the city of Phoenix Public Works Department, premiered this week on PHX11, and on-demand at phoenix.gov/11. The program was created to provide residents a look inside the world of garbage collection and recycling, with a special focus on recycling, reducing and reusing.

The premiere episode features Linda "The Queen of Clean" Cobb preparing easy recipes for non-toxic cleaning products; a young entrepreneur who created a business by recycling and reusing wine bottles; and everything you wanted to know about recycling, including where the materials end up after they leave your blue container.

Talking Trash is a 15 minute, quarterly program and will be made available on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and phoenix.gov/11. The premiere episode airs through January on PHX11.
