Phoenix police and firefighters will be hosting their annual Rides for Toys event this Saturday, Dec. 7 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Target parking lot, 4734 E. Ray Road. Police and firefighters will exchange rides in their vehicles for an unwrapped Christmas gift for Valley charities.

The South Mountain Precinct is also participating in the annual W. Steven Martin Police Toy Drive. If you would like to donate a new, unwrapped toy stop by and drop it off. The drop-off location is at the Ahwatukee Substation, 17010 S. 48th St. Officers of the South Mountain Precinct adopt four to eight families and deliver gifts to the children on Christmas week.

For more information, contact Officer Sheree Lee at (602) 534-6545 or sheree.lee@phoenix.gov.
