The city of Phoenix has numerous festivities planned for Chinese Week, which will take place between Feb. 8-14. The highlight of the festivities will be the three-day Chinese Culture and Cuisine Festival that will be from Feb. 12-14, with the hours being 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the weekend. The festival will be at Margaret T. Hance Park (East), 1202 N. Third St. Admission and parking are free. Other events will be in celebration of the week, including a table tennis open and a Chinese New Year banquet at the Great Wall Restaurant, located at 3446 W. Camelback Road on Feb. 20, beginning at 6:30 p.m., with a $45 cost. For more information on events, call 602-534-3751 or visit phoenixsistercities.org.
