Rotary Club to host protein drive

The Rotary Club of Ahwatukee Foothills will conduct a protein drive at the Bashas store located at 48th St. and Warner Road this Saturday, Feb. 5, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The purpose of this drive is to collect cans of tuna, peanut butter and canned meats for donation to the Kyrene Family Resource Center. This organization assists homeless and needy families in the Ahwatukee area with food, clothing and hygiene products.

The Rotary Club of Ahwatukee is one of Rotary International's 33,000 clubs which are spread throughout the world. More than 1.2 million members form these clubs whose motto is "Service Above Self."
