PHX11 presents an all-new episode of "Everything Phoenix" featuring the Early Head Start and the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) programs.

Early Head Start supports low-income families of children from birth up to 3 years old and pregnant women.

Staff members make weekly home visits to improve child development, and parents participate in socialization events twice a month. The program also provides services for special-needs children.

The EITC program helps low- to moderate-income families claim tax refunds each year. Community volunteers provide free tax preparation at locations throughout the city to help residents claim refunds. One hour of volunteer time can be worth up to $1,800 in refunds for qualifing families.

Hosted by Syndey Blaine, the show will air on Cox Cable Channel 11 through December and can be viewed on phoenix.gov/11.
