Wellness class explores the wonders of dehydrated foods

The August Health & Wellness class will take place 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at Emerald City Smoothies, 4206 E. Chandler Blvd., Suite 9.

Lisa Bedford, the survival mom known nationally for her survival tips relating to food storage, preparedness, emergency storage and more, will speak on food dehydration matters. This class will teach simple dehydration methods including dehydrating frozen and canned foods, making fruit leather and how to put together your own dehydrated dinners. Drinks will be provided.
