Enter a world of thrills, chills and terror by grabbing your friends and family and enjoying the Ahwatukee Community Swim and Tennis Center's 10th Annual Haunted House and Hayride Oct. 28-30, from 6 to 10 p.m. (closes at 9 p.m. on Sunday). A special time slot, 6 to 7:30 p.m., is designated as a "less scary" time for all the younger goblins.

Admission price is $7 for adults and $5 for kids 2 to 12 years old. All proceeds benefit youth programs at the center. Tickets are on sale at the Ahwatukee Community Swim and Tennis Center, 4700 E. Warner Road, and at the door.

This year, there will be vendor booths such as a palm reader, representatives from a paranormal society, Halloween merchandise, pumpkins, caramel apples and other treats.
