Ahwatukee Foothills resident Mari Smith of the Knockers Walking Team is planning to walk in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure to support breast cancer research. She is selling raffle tickets for prizes to help reach her fundraising goal of $2,300 to participate in the walk.
Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20. Make a donation at www.the3day.org/goto/marismith, and she will fill out the tickets for you. The drawing will be on Aug. 26, and you will be notified if you are a winner.
