OSHA classes are now available in Arizona through a new partnership between Gateway Community College in Phoenix and the OSHA Training Institute Education Center at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Classes will begin in August.

California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) is one of only 26 OSHA Training Institute Education Centers in the entire country. Such centers are the only entities authorized to offer federal OSHA training.

CSUDH conducts OSHA training programs in Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada.

The first course will be OSHA Standards for the Construction Industry, beginning Aug. 21. Other upcoming courses include Hazards and Solutions in Healthcare Facilities (beginning Aug. 23), OSHA Standards for General Industry (Sept. 11), OSHA Pandemic Influenza Preparedness and Aerosol Transmissible Diseases (Sept. 28), the Trainer Course in OSHA Standards for the Construction Industry (Oct. 16) and the Trainer Course in OSHA Standards for General Industry (Nov. 6).
