Gullett, Stanton square off in ASU debate

Phoenix mayoral candidates Wes Gullett and Greg Stanton will square off Tuesday in a debate at Arizona State University's campus in downtown Phoenix.

The debate's focus will be on sustainability in Phoenix and will be moderated by Rob Melnick, executive dean for the university's Global Institute of Sustainability.

Gullett and Stanton are in a run-off race. The election will be held on Nov. 8.

Gullett is a Republican who works as a political consultant.

Stanton is a Democrat who used to serve on the Phoenix City Council.
