Free ‘I Recycle Phoenix Festival' set for Dec. 30

The Public Works Department will partner with Keep Phoenix Beautiful and dozens of other local organizations for the "I Recycle Phoenix Festival," 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Dec. 30, at Seventh Avenue and Camelback Road.

This free recycle-palooza offers one convenient location for the shredding and recycling of Christmas trees, old computer hard-drives and personal documents. Plus, recycling of electronics, telephone books, writing instruments (pens, pencils and markers), holiday decorations and lights and much more.
