New Year's Eve events in and around Ahwatukee Foothills

Friday, Dec. 31

New Year's Eve at the Phoenix Zoo: 9 a.m. to noon. Join the Phoenix Zoo and ring in the New Year in style. Enjoy tons of snow, including a special snow area for toddlers, snowball target practice area, prize drawings, giveaways, live music, fun and games with Radio Disney. The event comes to a close at noon with a special cider toast for the kids to ring in the New Year. All activities are free with paid admission to the zoo. AZ Biltmore's special dining for New Year's: Wrights at The Biltmore and Frank & Albert's, both located at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa, will be offering special menus and gourmet feasts for New Year's Eve. The resort is located at 2400 E. Missouri Ave. in Phoenix. Reservations are required.

The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa offers holiday dining:

On Friday, Dec. 31, the Kai restaurant will offer three different holiday menu options along with their traditional menu.
