A total of 32 Phoenix nonprofit arts and culture organizations received $525,346 in grant funding in the 2012-13 fiscal year from the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture.

The funds support the general operations of major arts and cultural organizations or specific arts projects of smaller nonprofit arts and cultural organizations. The grant recipients include Actors Theatre of Phoenix, African Association of Arizona, Arizona Humanities Council, Arizona Matsuri, Arizona Opera, Arizona Science Center, Arizona Theatre Company, Artlink, Inc., Backers of Ballet, Ballet Arizona, Black Theatre Troupe Inc., Center Dance Ensemble, Children’s Museum of Phoenix, Great Arizona Puppet Theater and Heard Museum.
